While my twin sister was here she appliqued t-shirts for the little girls to match skirts that were ready to sew. I finally finished the one skirt in time for church yesterday...hopefully the other will be finished before the day is out. (Why is there wheat growing in my wild flower patch?) Here are a couple more pictures.
I did make the yo-yo and sew on the button. The dear sister fused the "flower" and blanket stiched around the edge (or was it a buttonhole stitch?).
This skirt is a combination of two in
Little Sassy Skirts. I might have to buy the adult book
Sassy Skirts for the older girls in the family.
